Japanese incumbent mobile operator NTT DoCoMo will conduct a joint research project with the University of Tokyo on urban planning based on mobile spatial statistics. The project will collect data from mobile users in Kashiwa City, Tokyo, from November 1 2010 to March 31 2011.
