Romania's telecoms regulator, Ancom, has launched a public consultation regarding the harmonisation of the use of the 880-915MHz, 925-960MHz, 1,710-1,747.5MHz and 1,805-1,842.5MHz frequency bands. The draft decision will see the operators holding these band be permitted to provide 3G UMTS services over the frequencies.
