M1 Moves Into Fixed-Line Market

MobileOne Asia (M1), Singapore's third-largest mobile operator, plans to offer fixed-line broadband services to residential customers across the country. Four new tariffs offering unlimited downloads at varying connection speeds are to be launched as the operator looks to develop new revenue streams, which will not only complement its own existing product portfolio, but also challenge operators Singapore Telecommunications (SingTel) and StarHub in the fixed-line broadband market.
