Two of Colombia's municipal telecoms service providers, ETB and Emcali, are planning to bid for two of five broadcasting licences to be auctioned by the government in order to begin offering cable TV services. The five licences have become available for different reasons, and the national TV regulator CNTV is expected to grant the concessions on November 15.
