Struggling equipment manufacturer Motorola has announced the reorganisation of its Home and Mobility Networks unit into three smaller divisions. The creation of these units will allow a closer focus on key areas and follows the March announcement that the company will split into two publicly traded units in 2009, with the separation of its mobile handset unit. The three new units will be broadband home solutions, cellular networks and broadband access solutions, with the latter concentrating on next-generation technologies, such as LTE and WiMAX.
