British Telecom (BT) plans to launch a corporate fixed-mobile convergence service via its Asia Pacific subsidiary. BT Corporate Fusion will support both GSM and CDMA settings, utilising prevailing Wi-Fi technologies to interface with fixed networks, while WAP, GPRS, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi will keep customers up to date providing customer support. The service is also impartial to operators, announcing that it would not be tied to any specific mobile handset model.
