High Tech Computer Corp (HTC), a leading Taiwanese smartphone handset provider, has agreed to supply South Korea's mobile market leader SK Telecom with its Touch Dual handset model. The agreement makes this HTC's first foray into the ultra competitive handset market, which is dominated by local vendors Samsung and LG Electronics. However, as a smartphone, HTC's Touch Dual handset is a direct rival to Apple 's iPhone and RIM's BlackBerry.
