Qatar Telecom (Qtel) and its partner AA Turki Corporate Trading and Construction (Atco) of Saudi Arabia have formally launched Wi-Tribe, a new international wireless broadband provider that aims to deliver instant wireless connectivity from North Africa across the Middle East and into Asia. Qtel owns 51% of the Wi-Tribe venture.
