Comstar Ukraine, a subsidiary of Russia-based Comstar United TeleSystems (Comstar UTS), has launched its Double Play service in Odessa, providing high-speed broadband internet access and IPTV services in a single package. Six tariff plans are offered to subscribers, including unlimited internet access at rates ranging from 512Mbps to 2,048Mbps. The service is provided over Comstar Ukraine's multi-service fibre-optic next-generation network (NGN). IPTV services were launched in Odessa in early March 2008.
