Etihad Etisalat (trading as Mobily), Saudi Arabia's second mobile network operator, has awarded a three-year managed services contract to Huawei Technologies of China. Under the agreement, Huawei will manage network operation, back office, field operation, network optimisation and spare part procurement services for Mobily. Huawei will maintain multi-vendor telecoms equipment such as switching and transmission platforms for the operator.
