UK mobile operator O2 has launched its mobile broadband offering for existing O2 customers and a GBP20 a month contract, around the median range for mobile broadband. O2, owned by Spain's Telefónica, is the last of the UK's five network operators to launch mobile broadband in the country, and offers download speed of up to 1.8Mbps. O2 is the second largest mobile operator in the UK, having lost the first place to Vodafone in Q307.
