Alcatel-Lucent has signed a two-year frame agreement, valued at EUR24mn, with alternative Moroccan fixed-line and mobile services provider Wana (formerly Maroc Connect) to extend and upgrade its network infrastructure. Alcatel-Lucent will deploy next-generation wireless transmission solutions to enhance the capacity and extend the reach of Wana's network, enabling it to better meet the increasing demand for bandwidth-intensive services in Morocco.
