012 Smile.Communications, a subsidiary of broadband and multimedia company Internet Gold - Golden Lines, has applied to the Israeli Ministry of Communications (MoC) to extend its existing licences and/or to receive additional licences that would permit it to offer cellular services as a mobile virtual network operator (MVNO), mobile communications services via WiMAX and Wi-Fi technology, IP-based mobile services (Cellular Voice-over-Broadband) and ISP services over GSM.
