Egypt-based Orascom Telecom has published its financial and operating results for the year ended December 31 2007, revealing a 36% increase in its mobile subscriber base (44% if 2006 results from now-divested Iraqna are excluded) to 70.09mn. Meanwhile, total consolidated revenues grew by 22% y-o-y to US$4.72bn, mostly on the back of a 24% y-o-y rise in revenues from mobile operations.
