Saudi Arabia's second mobile phone operator Mobily has said that it has contracted three equipment vendors to carry out the expansion and operation of its 2G/3G network across the Kingdom over a three-year period: Alcatel-Lucent, Ericsson and Huawei Technologies. The three companies will undertake the management, operation and maintenance of the Mobily system, including spare parts, value-added services, developing network performance and maintaining quality of service.
