Tata Teleservices has been selected by Virgin as its mobile partner in India under a brand franchise agreement. The announcement confirms months of speculation that Tata Teleservices had been chosen, following talks between the two companies earlier in 2007, and leading to rumours that a joint venture would be established in subsequent months.
