Zain has announced plans to expand coverage of Iraq with its digital mobile telephone network nationwide by the end of 2008 through the integration of the infrastructure of recently-acquired operator Iraqna, as well as through additional network deployments in its existing service areas. Full integration of the Zain Iraq and Iraqna networks should be completed before the end of 2008, providing Zain with greater coverage of northern Iraq.
