Moroccan alternative network operator Wana (formerly Maroc Connect) has awarded Cambridge Broadband Networks a contract for the provision of its VectaStar transmission platform. Wana will use VectaStar to backhaul multiple services, including corporate access, CDMA cellular and (planned) WiMAX backhaul. The network will operate on two frequency bands, 3.5GHz and 10.5GHz, simultaneously.
