Etisalat says it will launch its fixed-line and mobile services in Nigeria in March 2008. Etisalat owns 40% of a company that was awarded a 15-year unified access services licence in March 2007. Its partner in the venture is Abu Dhabi-based Mubadala Development Company. The new operator will be Nigeria's third fixed-line service provider and the fifth mobile operator in Nigeria.
