Oman's national telecoms company Omantel will cut its tariffs for internet access as part of a drive to improve network availability and take-up across the country. 'We are revising the internet tariff,' said Dr Mohammed Ali al Wohaibi, Omantel's CEO, adding that 'there will be new packages and new speed… We will announce it when the new broadband network becomes operational.'
