Virgin Mobile , the UK's largest mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) has expressed concern about the lack of handsets available that are able to receive mobile TV services. The operator launched mobile TV in 2006, but still has just one handset available to offer customers that sign up to the service. BMI believes that the lack of handset availability could be restricting take-up of mobile TV, although Virgin Mobile has declined to comment on reports that its has signed up fewer than 10,000 subscribers so far.
