UK-based mobile giant Vodafone has confirmed that its broadband internet and fixed-line services will commence in the UK on January 8, 2007. The operator's 'Vodafone at Home' service, priced at GBP25 per month, is already operational in Germany and Italy, where there are more than 1.7mn subscribers altogether.
