The Jordanian government is to sell its 41.5% stake in Jordan Telecom at a cost of JOD515mn. The announcement marks part of the country's liberalisation policies, and follows the recent purchase of mobile operator Umniah Mobile Communications (UMC) by Bahrain's Batelco.
