Brazil's leading mobile operator Vivo could become the first company to provide national service coverage, according to its President Roberto Lima. The operator, which at the end of 2005 had a user base of 29.8mn and enjoys a 35% share of the country's mobile market, comprises seven regional operators collectively covering 86% of Brazilian territory.
