Singapore is on track to become the first country in the Asia Pacific region to complete the deployment of a fibre-based national broadband network after OpenNet achieved 83% residential and non-residential building coverage at the end of November 2011. Although the adoption of fibre broadband in the Singapore has not grown in tandem, we believe that the tech-savvy consumers and businesses would embrace the technology in the next few years as ISPs ramp up their efforts to gain subscriptions.
