Omea Telecom, which owns France's largest MVNO, Virgin Mobile, as well as Tele2, Breizh Mobile and Casino Mobile, has announced that it will leave Orange's network in 2012 and begin operating as a full MVNO over SFR's network. The move will enable the group to manage its own customers more effectively and help to maintain the strong performance of Virgin Mobile as it moves towards become a quad-play service provider, BMI believes.
