Indian Operators Seek Route Through Bangladesh

Bharti Airtel and Reliance Communications of India have submitted a joint proposal to the Bangladesh Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (BTRC) to deploy a fibre-optic network through Bangladesh to reach the isolated north eastern states of Assam, Nagaland, Tripura, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram and Arunchal Pradesh.
