Timor Telecom Plans 3G Launch

Timor Telecom, the sole operator of public communications networks and services in East Timor, said that it plans to launch 3G mobile telephone services in late March 2010. This is part of a broader plan to improve and extend mobile network coverage of the island state over the next two years.
