Baltic Mobile Riding Out The Storm

The three Baltic States are all forecast to see double-digit contracts in GDP in 2009 alongside rising unemployment, wage cuts, weakening consumer confidence and the ongoing credit crunch. This has filtered through to the region's mobile sectors, which all have penetration of above 100%. The region's two main mobile operators are Nordic TeliaSonera and Tele2.
