Ukrtelecom Sees Q109 Revenues Up

According to a number of media sources, citing Ukrainian News Agency, Ukrainian incumbent Ukrtelecom has reported a consolidated net loss of UAH181.6mn (US$32.1mn) for the first three months of 2009. TeleGeography reports that the operator's net loss in Q108 amounted to UAH97.5mn, which suggests Ukrtelecom is struggling in the current market conditions. However, total revenues in Q109 were up 0.9% year-on-year to UAH1.7bn.
