Korek Moving For Expansion

Korek Telecom, one of Iraq's smaller, but nonetheless nationally licensed mobile operators, has revealed investment plans to spend US$100mn on an expansion plan with equipment vendor Ericsson, reports Zawya. This investment is the second phase of its expansion plan to increase Korek's subscriber base to 4mn over the next few years, while at the same time achieving nationwide coverage.
