Primus Considers Australian 4G Spectrum

Primus Telecom (Australia) is considering whether to bid for new wireless spectrum that would enable it to transform itself from a service provider/reseller into a fully fledged mobile network operator. The company, which claims to be the third largest ISP and the fourth largest full-service carrier in Australia, would likely build a nationwide 4G network based on LTE technology were it to win the frequencies, which are set to become available in 2013.
