Expanding Broadband Services To Cater To Growing Demand

RCP, a Peruvian telecoms operator, is to offer a virtual private network (VPN) over the network of fixed-line incumbent Telefónica del Perú (TdP). In 2008 Peru's government approved regulations to allow smaller operators to offer broadband services over the networks of other operators. Increasing competition in Peru's broadband market is important for generating continued growth in the market and enabling new operators to enter at lower prices.
