BMI Sceptical Of Mobile TV Demand In Latin America

Rubberduck Media Lab, a Norwegian mobile TV solutions provider, has reached an agreement with Chile's Entel for trials in high-speed mobile TV over LTE and is seeking other agreements in Latin America. The agreement sees Rubberduck expand on its existing deal with Entel for mobile TV on its existing 3G network. While BMI welcomes the deal that highlights Entel's forward-looking strategy with regards the next generation of technologies, we remain sceptical that mobile TV will take off in Latin America, as it has failed to do so elsewhere.
