Tele2 Looking Strong

Swedish telecoms group Tele2 has reported a 3% year-on-year (y-o-y) increase in net sales to SEK10.13bn in Q209. This resulted in a 16.6% y-o-y improvement in EBITDA of SEK2.45bn and an improvement in the group's EBITDA margin from 21.4% in Q208 to 24.2% in Q209. Net profit for the quarter came to SEK1.152bn, a significant improvement from the minus SEK59mn seen in Q208.
