Georgia To See First IPTV

According to local news source The Financial, Georgian fixed-line operator United Telecom intends to launch an IPTV service in the capital Tbilisi on October 15 2009, in partnership with Novus Group. Novus provided technical and program maintenance while United Telecom has developed the content. In early 2010 the service is expected to be available to all United Telecom subscribers throughout the Georgian territory.
