Mobile Operator To Muscle In On Fixed-Line Territory

Cellcom, Israel's market leading mobile operator, is to enter the fixed-line market with a fixed-wireless offering, reports Israel's Ha'aretz newspaper. The company is to begin offering home internet services via a router and modem in one, which can also be used to connect a home phone. This will see it competing directly with incumbent operator Bezeq and leading cable company HOT Telecoms.
