Romtelecom To Acquire Boom TV

Romtelecom is close to acquiring the subscriber base and assets of DTH Television Group's insolvent Romanian satellite pay-TV platform, Boom TV. DTH Television Group has been fighting bankruptcy since creditors canvassed for the company to be declared bankrupt in May 2010. BMI considers the acquisition by Romtelecom to be the best option available for the market and expects the company to acquire other smaller operators in 2011.
