Competition To Heat Up As Market Reaches 100% Penetration

Brazil's regulator Anatel announced rules for mobile virtual network operators (MVNOs) on the day data was released showing the mobile market hit 100% penetration at the end of October 2010. BMI had expected this milestone in the latter months of 2010, after operators reported strong growth throughout the year. BMI continues to forecast good growth for the market and we believe MVNOs are an integral part of that continued growth.
