CATEL Expands Network Coverage To Shamakhi

News: Azerbaijani CDMA operator Caspian American Telecommunications (CATEL) launched its CDMA2000 1x mobile network in Shamakhi in western Azerbaijan. The operator also launched its wireless services in Shamakhi and nearby regions, including Sabir and Melhem. CATEL also revealed plans to expand coverage of its network to the north of the country and intends to deploy several base stations, in up to four regions, by the end of 2010.
