Smartphone Growth Is Good, But Dumbphones Will Rule

Notably, the company says the increase is being driven by mass market demand, rather than corporate clients. While BMI welcomes this, we remain sceptical that the smartphone market will continue to grow in this manner. We maintain that 2G connections and more basic handsets, or 'dumbphones', will continue to dominate Peru's mobile handset market.
