Telstra Planning Increased Service Focus

While BMI still has reservations about Telstra's non-binding agreement to participate in Australia's National Broadband Network (NBN), it does, on the face of it, signal a change in the Australian incumbent's attitude and strategy. Since the announcement of the agreement, Telstra's CEO, David Thodey, has made comments indicating that the company really is looking for a big change in strategic direction. If Telstra follows through, it will be further encouragement that the NBN is on its way, and its advent may help the company to continue to thrive.
