Econet Generating Investor Interest

Zimbabwe's leading mobile operator, Econet, which also offers broadband service through its Ecoweb subsidiary, has released its results for the year ended February 28 2010. These are, not surprisingly, pretty strong, with impressive growth over the 12-month period. Econet's shares have risen substantially on the generally moribund Zimbabwe Stock Exchange, and are expected to continue to rise, as local investors remain keen to participate in this indisputably growing industry.
