As Globe And Liberty Grow, Sear Returns To WiMAX

Trunked mobile radio operator Sear Telecommunications Inc aims to restart its efforts to offer wireless broadband services to consumers in the Philippines, with a new set of financial backers said to be encouraged by the great progress made by rivals Globe Telecom and Liberty Telecommunications, among others. Sear has filed an application with the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) to amend its authorisation to offer broadband services in certain regions of the country so that it can offer WiMAX-based services.
