Low Cost Mobile Broadband Could Bring Changes

Leading direct-to-home (DTH) pay-TV provider Cyfrowy Polsat has launched its first wireless broadband service. At PLN1 (US$0.35) a month for 200MB, it is by far the cheapest option in the market and will form part of the company's plans to expand services to include pay-TV, broadband and mobile telephony. Adding in a new, very low-cost service will see the operator compete more and more with established operators in the broadband market.
