Tanzania To See Boost In Mobile Money Growth

According to Tanzanian newspaper The Citizen, Tanzania's mobile operators are expecting 2010 to be the year to see mobile money services really take off in the country. BMI has made similar predictions, although we would also challenge the idea that the response in Tanzania up to 2009 was entirely disappointing. In any case, East Africa's star remains in the ascendant as the focal point of mobile money development in Africa.
