Wind Mobile Wants Nexus One For Prepay Market Assault

Canada's newest mobile network operator, Wind Mobile, has said that it is in talks with Google to allow it to market the software giant's first mobile handset, the Nexus One, to Canadian consumers. A deal with a Canadian distributor has not yet been agreed by Google - indeed, Canada is not much of a priority by Google's own admission - so Wind Mobile clearly hopes to be the first to market. If it can arrange an exclusive deal, it might become the sole source for the phone.
