Billion Dollar Broadband Expansion Plan Announced

Egypt is drawing up a US$1bn plan to boost broadband penetration over the next five years, reports Reuters. BMI sees the plan as ambitious, and wonders where the government will get the money for it, but is nonetheless encouraged by the proposition, as there is significant demand for reliable, high quality broadband service in Egypt.
