More CDMA Lines Planned

Myanmar's state-owned telecoms operator is set to expand its CDMA network to add capacity in the principle cities of Yangon and Mandalay. Services in the new capital of Naypyidaw will not be affected. There are 150,000 lines set to be added to capacity in total. This is not a large amount, but given that the mobile market is reported as only 581,300 at the end of 2008, it marks a significant increase.
