WiMAX Networks In Americas Reach 150

The WiMAX Forum Congress Americas has highlighted 150 WiMAX networks across the Americas as we approach the end of 2009. The future of the broadband platform has come into question as the imminent launch of commercial LTE services creates additional competition for truly high-speed broadband services offered over radio frequencies. Some companies have declared their allegiance to the new technology while some of WiMAX's strongest supporters maintain it still has a strong future.
